It's kind of comical and…but at the time of its it wasn't very comical to me. And that was me telling my wife while we were… when we were dating I love you. And her response to that was thank you. And me coming from America if someone says I love you to you. And you don't love them but you don't want to be rude you say thank you. And so at the time that's how I talk it and I was kind of confused because we had been dating for some time. At that point and I was really confused and I was like it doesn't… I don't think she doesn't love me? But why did she say thank you. And, so it kind of continued on for maybe 2 weeks or so every time I would say I love you, she would say thank you. At that point I kind of just was like what's going on!? Why do you keep saying thank you. And at that time she told me that's what people do in Japan and stuff. But I was like well in American culture it's pretty rude. It's basically say I don't love you and I don't want to be rude, so thank you. But I thought looking back now at it it's pretty comical, but I don't know. What you think? Do you think that American culture and stuff that we throw around I love you too much? Because just knowing myself I do say a lot. But, here in Japan, it seems that people don't really say it that often. And, do you think that's a good thing? Maybe not saying it so much it holds a lot more meaning to it and stuff. But yeah, what are your thoughts on that?
